The Virginia Academy of General Dentistry (VAGD) is the state constituent of the second largest professional dental organization in the United States, the Academy of General Dentistry. We represent approximately 1,200 general dentists in the Commonwealth of Virginia and are dedicated to “Excellence Through Lifelong Learning.” Not only do we strive for excellence in our clinical pursuits, but we are also involved in community outreach programs and patient education through our national AGD Foundation. 

Involvement with the VAGD is an opportunity to receive exposure and grow relationships with general dentists who have proven to be driven and passionate about furthering their career in dentistry.
